February started pretty nice this year….not too cold and kind of sunny. Plus it’s my birthday so that makes it a little more exciting! I think the Titmouse in this picture is just happy to have gotten two sunflower seeds in his beak at once….

In the bird feeder, originally uploaded by Sky. I don’t think he’s too worried about us knowing he’s there though….he knows that he’s got it made here. It has been so cold for so long here that the Little Kanawha River is freezing over. It really does make for a pretty picture though… Tonight we are under another Winter storm advisory until Saturday afternoon. It has really been a beautiful snowy day today, and from the looks of things, tomorrow will be more of the same! Drive carefuly and keep your animals warm! |
